Light signifies the presence of God, the opposite of darkness is light, similar to good and evil, believers and unbelievers. Where ever there’s light, darkness flee away.

God is light, You can not have fellowship with God if you walk in darkness, but if you walk in the light,you have fellowship with Him through Jesus his son who died for you and cleanse you from all iniquity.
